Framing your portrait:
It is worth mentioning here, how to care for your watercolour portrait once it has arrived. Watercolour paintings do not respond well to moisture or humidity, which can cause discolouring to the paper and paint. You therefore need to get your watercolour portrait framed under glass, after first having it mounted in good quality mounting board. The mounting will ensure the glass does not touch the paper. Take your portrait along to a professional picture framer who will have a large selection of differing coloured mounting board and style of frames.
